Bassetti Acquires 3DTRUST to Add Manufacturing Execution (MES) and Powder Management to its TEEXMA® for Additive Manufacturing Solution Suite: The Only End-to-end Solution Available
Grenoble, France – March 26th, 2021 – Bassetti Group has acquired 3DTrust, a company specializing in manufacturing execution systems (MES), powder management, and build quality monitoring for the additive manufacturing (AM) industry.
The acquisition of 3DTrust expands Bassetti’s TEEXMA for Additive Manufacturing solution suite and creates the industry’s first complete end-to-end solution. The solution supports research, integrated computational materials engineering (ICME), product development, simulation, manufacturing, testing, quality, maintenance, and product delivery.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to acquire 3DTrust” says Bassetti CEO David Bassetti. “They have developed a state-of-the-art MES solution that is currently used by major aerospace companies like Airbus, Safran, and Thales and fully complements our existing AM solution for R&D. With the acquisition, Bassetti can support up-front data capture and analysis, R&D projects, monitor real-time production and quality, and securely manage file exchanges with patented block-chain security, in both single or mixed production environments (additive and conventional). We stay committed to the AM industry as it evolves into its next phase; mass production.”
Bassetti continues to make strategic acquisitions and partnerships to expand its portfolio. For AM, a partnership with Senvol utilizes the integration of their Senvol Database and SOP. This provides the most comprehensive database of additive materials, machines, and processes on the market, and a validated procedure for generating pedigreed AM data for the certification of parts.
About Bassetti Group: Founded almost 30 years ago as a materials solution provider, Bassetti quickly realized that technical data created and used by its customers across the product development lifecycle, along with various expertise and lessons learned, was highly valuable. These are typically siloed in separate solutions and at various locations making the information inaccessible. To solve this dilemma, Bassetti pioneered the concept of Technical Expertise Management with the development of its web-based TEEXMA technology platform. Bassetti has since expanded its offerings by integrating risk management and knowledge management solutions to continue to support companies’ evolving needs. TEEXMA is truly one technology, multiple solutions!
